Ange Maya's Biography:
Ange Maya is a Chinese-born police anchorwoman tuned American actress and filmmaker. Her most notable on-screen starring role is feature film Empress Vampire. Her trademark is her floor-length long hair and a mole located above her upper left lip on her cheek.
Early life
Born into a cultivated and artistic Chinese family in Chengdu, People's Republic of China, Ange joined both a gymnastics team and dance group at the age of six years old. Ange excelled in academics as a child, and soon enough she was studying mathematics at the University of China where she intended to become a scientist, but she was offered a job as a television anchor and journalist by the Federal Police Bureau of China. She eagerly accepted the job and served the Chinese government for a number of years. She devoted a great deal of enthusiasm to her work but ultimately decided to resign once she realized that her spirit desired for freedom from the bureaucracy. Ange then pursued the business-side of health care management, biotechnology engineering, and various charities. Along the way she was discovered by a modeling scout. Soon after, she began print modeling for the European edition of Maxim Magazine. In 2005, she was offered role in film Mummy's Kisses (2006) by director Don Glut while she was still in China.
Modeling
Ange moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to further pursue her modeling career. Her uniquely long and stunningly beautiful 'floor-length' hair has captivated many and led to appearances in multiple American commercial campaigns, music videos, and art galleries ever since. Her long hair even got her out of several traffic tickets from the Highway Patrol.
Acting and producing
In 2008, she landed her first feature film role debuting in Blood Scarab - a film directed by Don Glut, in which she played the Goddess Hathor's Handmaiden. At the screening of Blood Scarab, she met award-winning director Phil Condit. After that they teamed up and planned to co-produce the feature film Empress Vampire in which she is starring. Empress Vampire is currently in post-production and scheduled for the festival circuit in 2010. With the momentum of her passion in film making, she has started working on plotting her next two feature films - a Sci-Fi romantic drama (working) titled China Spy, and Sci-Fi Horror Empress Vampire II: The rapture (working title). Ange became citizen of United States in February 2009.

About Ange Maya:
Family
Ange's mother was an Eurasian infant orphan found on the front porch of a
family. Her younger sister died young in the Cultural Revolution of
Spiritual life
Ange had a near-death
experience at age 6 when a teacher accidentally created a poisonous gas. She
experienced herself roving around in heaven, but was drawn back to earth by
the efforts of rescuers resuscitating her. Since then she received some
unexplained abilities such as Extra Sensory Perception. Her dreams would
predict accidents and events that would happen to her life. She was fascinated
with the mystical phenomenon, and started the journey of researching the
spiritual world of unseen and unknown. She has studied most of the religions,
and physically practiced Tibetan Tantra, Zen, Qigong, and Yoga to refine her
spiritual achievement. The visions of her dreams constantly inspire her to
plot out screenplays and to create visionary arts. In her mind, nothing is
more important than spiritual consummation.
